Our Faith Overview

As a church of England School, our faith permeates through every area of school life, informing our ethos, vision and practice in school. We support the Church of England's Vision for Education, aiming to provide the opportunity for all within our school family to "live life in all it's fullness" (John 10:10) whilst serving the whole community.

Our school's ethos is based around our core and distinctly christian values, which are drawn from christian teachings and underpinned by key bible verses. These are studied and linked to the children's own lives and experiences through collective worship opportunities. We explore a different value each month, and children, staff, governors and family members have played an active part in selecting christian values that represent our Christian vision and ethos, nurturing and encouraging our school community.

Our Christian values and key bible verses can be seen here:

Throughout their time at Ireleth St Peters, children are given many varied opportunities to explore their faith and beliefs in the following ways:

*Involvement in worship council
*Attending church services
*Learning about Christianity and other religions in weekly RE lessons.

Our Vision

At Ireleth St Peter’s, through values rooted in Christian teaching, our community nurtures and enables positive foundations for life. Our distinct Christian ethos permeates throughout ISP.

Working together in successful partnership, our school family embraces the common goal of inspiring every child to reach their fullest potential, through God’s love.
